AdControl Methods

The following methods of the AdControl class are unique to the class. For more information about methods inherited by the AdControl class, see the Controls.UserControls class.

AddAdTag()

Reserved.

Refresh()

When automatic ad refresh is disabled, a call to this method directs the AdControl to show the next ad when a new one becomes available.

RemoveAdTag()

Reserved.

Resume()

This method is used to resume the normal display of an ad after a call to Suspend.

SendMessageToAd()

Reserved.

Suspend()

Suspends the current ad. Replaces the current view of the ad with a static snapshot of what was being rendered.

Suspend(bool)

Suspends the current ad. Replaces the current view of the ad with a static snapshot of what was being rendered. This overloaded method allows the ad to be placed in a suspended state while canceling any expanded experience or without closing a full screen ad.
