Windows Media Player 10 Playlist

A playlist is a customized list of digital media files that you can watch or listen to.

An auto playlist is a playlist to which the Player automatically adds items based on criteria that you specify. Auto playlists are updated each time you open them. By default, Media Library contains several auto playlists, that are included by this component.

By using playlists and auto playlists, you can group various digital media files together and specify the order you want the files to play in. For example, you can create a playlist that includes several tracks from various CDs, a radio station link, and a video clip. You can also use playlists and auto playlists to copy files to portable devices or to create, or burn, your own CDs.
