The Device: Display component describes a prototype display device. Do not manually add this component to your run-time image. If your run-time image does not specify a display adapter, the Device: Display prototype component is automatically used as a default device.
There are no services associated with this component.
All video adapters have prototype dependencies on this component.
The Device: Display prototype component includes the settings that are described in the following table. Do not configure these settings. These settings are base settings that are inherited by any video adapter that you add to your configuration. If the added video adapter includes its own device settings, the settings that the video adapter supplies will override the settings that are included in the Device: Display prototype component.
|Screen resolution||800 by 600 pixels||Specifies the default screen resolution.|
|Color quality||True Color (32 bit)||Specifies the default color quality setting.|
