Logical Disk Manager Configuration Library
The Logical Disk Manager Configuration Library component is the configuration engine for dynamic disks. The component consists of a dynamic library that can be used to convert disks to dynamic and back to basic, and to manage volumes that reside on dynamic disks. Management operations include create, delete, extend, mirror, repair, and others.
This component includes the Dmconfig.dll file, which is the configuration engine for dynamic disks.
The Dmconfig library is used by the Disk Management Services component to configure and manage dynamic disks.
There are no configurable settings for this component.
This component is required on any system using dynamic disks. The Disk Management Dynamic Volume Runtime and Disk Management Services components cannot work properly without it.
