ACPI Multiprocessor PC

The ACPI Multiprocessor PC component provides the hardware abstraction layer (HAL) for the Windows operating system in the hal.dll file. The hall.dll file provides a loadable HAL image and is the default HAL file. This component also includes hal.inf, the INF (information) file for the hardware abstraction layer, as well as supporting registry information.
