The Primitive: W32topl component is a command-line utility used to configure, monitor, and control the Windows Time Service (W32Time). Configuration changes made in this component, or the registry, can be sent to this component while the service is running. You can use this component to diagnose the health of the time service and to monitor machines remotely. This component can generate logs that can be easily converted to comma-separated values (.csv) files. The control mechanism allows an administrator to remotely resynchronize a time service.
