How to: Add, Change, or Remove Data Series Markers (Report Builder)
A data series marker represents the value for each item in the category. You can easily format a data series to help your report readers understand the data that they are viewing.
To add data series markers
In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.
Point to Data Series, and click Format Data Series for the data series that you want to change. The Format Data Series dialog box is displayed.
Select the Show markers check box.
Click OK.
To change data series markers
In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.
Point to Data Series, and click Format Data Series for the data series that you want to change. The Format Data Series dialog box is displayed.
To change the marker type, select a different shape for the markers from the Marker type drop down list.
To change the size of the markers, use the arrows to change the marker size in the Marker size box.
To change the border and fill of the markers, click Format.
Click OK.
To remove data series markers
In Report Builder design mode, right-click anywhere on the chart.
Point to Data Series, and click Format Data Series for the data series that you want to change. The Format Data Series dialog box is displayed.
Clear the Show markers check box.
Click OK.
