Assembly '<assembly>' cannot be in the global assembly cache because its dependency '<dependency>' is not strong- named 

Only strong-named assemblies can be installed in the global assembly cache. An assembly that has dependencies on assemblies that are not strong-named cannot be installed in the global assembly cache.

To correct this error

  • In the File System Editor, move the assembly to a different folder.

    If the assembly needs to be installed in the global assembly cache: Locate the dependency referenced in the error message and sign it. For more information, see Deployment and the Global Assembly Cache.
