BinaryReader Constructor (Stream)

Initializes a new instance of the BinaryReader class based on the supplied stream and using UTF8Encoding.

Parameters

input

A stream.

Exception typeCondition

ArgumentException

The stream does not support reading, the stream is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), or the stream is already closed.
