Das MultiView-Steuerelement ist ein Container für eine Gruppe von View-Steuerelementen. Mit diesem Steuerelement können Sie eine Gruppe von View-Steuerelementen definieren, in der jedes View-Steuerelement untergeordnete Steuerelemente enthält. Die Anwendung kann dann ein bestimmtes View-Steuerelement basierend auf bestimmten Kriterien, z. B. Benutzeridentität, Benutzereinstellungen und Informationen, die in einem Abfragezeichenfolgenparameter übergeben werden, auf dem Client wiedergeben. Mit dem MultiView-Steuerelement können Sie auch Assistenten erstellen. In diesem Szenario stellt jedes in einem MultiView-Steuerelement enthaltene View-Steuerelement einen anderen Schritt oder eine andere Seite im Assistenten dar. Sie sollten dieses Steuerelement auch zum Entwickeln von Anwendungen für mehrere Bildschirme für mobile Geräte verwenden. Dieses Steuerelement stellt die gleichen Funktionen wie das mobile ASP.NET-Form-Steuerelement in Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1, bereit.

Beispiel
Im folgenden Codebeispiel wird veranschaulicht, wie mithilfe eines MultiView-Steuerelements eine einfache Umfrage erstellt wird. Jedes View-Steuerelement stellt eine separate Frage der Umfrage dar. Wenn der Benutzer auf einer Seite auf die Schaltfläche Zurück klickt, wird die ActiveViewIndex-Eigenschaft dekrementiert, um zurück zum vorherigen View-Steuerelement zu navigieren. Wenn der Benutzer auf einer Seite auf die Schaltfläche Weiter klickt, wird die ActiveViewIndex-Eigenschaft inkrementell erhöht, um zum nächsten View-Steuerelement zu navigieren.
