Welcome to the InfoPath 2007 XSF Schema Reference. This reference documents the XML Schema Definition (XSD) for the InfoPath form definition (.xsf) file .

This documentation contains the following sections:

  • InfoPath XSF Core Schema   Provides reference documentation for the types, elements, and attributes in the xsf namespace of the InfoPath XSF schema. All of the types, elements, and attributes in the xsf namespace, except for the submitToHostAdapter element and its associated attributes, are compatible with both Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 Service Pack 1 or later and Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007.
  • InfoPath XSF Extensions Schema   Provides reference documentation for the types, elements, and attributes in the xsf2 namespace of the InfoPath XSF schema. The types, elements, and attributes in the xsf2 namespace provide extensions to the functionality defined in the xsf namespace, and are only compatible with Office InfoPath 2007.
