Check backup status

To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the Domain Admins security group.
Open Server Management. To open Server Management, click Start, and then click Server Management.
In the console tree, click Backup. The details pane displays information about backup status, including:
The day(s) that backups are scheduled.
Success or failure reporting for the last ten backups performed.
Links to each corresponding backup log file.

If you are using third-party backup software, the details pane does not display backup status.

Backup status information is also included in server status reports.

To check backup status, you must have run the Backup Configuration Wizard previously.
