The Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard supports either a broadband or modem connection to the Internet. Click the connection type that you want to use.

Connection type Description

Broadband

Click if you have a high-speed connection to the Internet that is always available using a network device such as a cable modem, digital subscriber line (DSL) modem, or a router (including a dial-on-demand or ISDN router).

Dial-up

Click if you have a dial-up connection to the Internet using a modem or an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) terminal adapter.

Important

  • This connection type uses the dialing functions provided by the firewall with Windows Small Business Server 2003.

Do not change connection type

Click if you do not want to change the connection type previously specified.
