Converts the specified Boolean value to the equivalent 16-bit unsigned integer.

Parameters

value
Type: System.Boolean

The Boolean value to convert.

Return Value

Type: System.UInt16

The number 1 if value is true; otherwise, 0.

The following example converts the Boolean values true and false to unsigned 16-bit integers.

bool falseFlag = false;
bool trueFlag = true;

Console.WriteLine("{0} converts to {1}.", falseFlag,
                  Convert.ToInt16(falseFlag));
Console.WriteLine("{0} converts to {1}.", trueFlag,
                  Convert.ToUInt16(trueFlag));
// The example displays the following output:
//       False converts to 0.
//       True converts to 1.
