Permission.DocumentAuthor property

Gets or sets the author of the current form as an e-mail address.

Property value

Type: System.String
The e-mail address of the author of the form.

Remarks

The author of the form always has non-expiring owner rights to the form, whether the owner permission is granted explicitly through a UserPermission object or not.

This member can be accessed only by forms running in the same domain as the currently open form, or by forms that have been granted cross-domain permissions.

This type or member can be accessed only from code running in forms opened in Microsoft InfoPath Filler.

In the following example, clicking the Button control displays the e-mail address of the document author.
