Parameters

provider
Type: System.IFormatProvider

This parameter is ignored.

Return Value

Type: System.Int16

The value of the current instance, converted to an Int16.

This member is an explicit interface member implementation. It can be used only when the Double instance is cast to an IConvertible interface. The recommended alternative is to call the Convert.ToInt16(Double) method.
