Start-AzureSqlDatabaseExport

Initiates an export operation from a Windows Azure SQL Database to Windows Azure blob storage.

Syntax

Parameter Set: ByContainerName
Start-AzureSqlDatabaseExport [-SqlConnectionContext] <ServerDataServiceSqlAuth> [-StorageContext] <AzureStorageContext> [-StorageContainerName] <String> [-DatabaseName] <String> [-BlobName] <String> [ <CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

Use the Start-AzureSqlDatabaseExport cmdlet to initiate an export operation from an Azure SQL Database to blob storage. The operation requires a database server connection context. Use the Get-AzureSqlDatabaseImportExportStatus cmdlet to get status on the export operation.
