Sets or retrieves a value that indicates the maximum number of characters that the user can enter.

Syntax

ASP <tagPrefix:TOOLBARTEXTBOX MAXLENGTH = iMaxLength ... >
Script [ iMaxLength = ] TOOLBARTEXTBOX.MaxLength

Possible Values

tagPrefix Required. The element prefix associated with the WebControls namespace (Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls). A TagPrefix is defined using the directive.
iMaxLength System.Int32 that specifies or receives the maximum length of the input.

The property is read/write. The property has no default value.

Remarks

The MAXLENGTH property limits the number of characters the user can enter.
