CloudPageBlob.BeginOpenWrite Method (Nullable, AsyncCallback, Object)

Updated: September 24, 2013

[This topic is part of the Windows Azure Storage Client Library 2.1. The current recommended version is Storage Client Library 3.0.]

Begins an asynchronous operation to open a stream for writing to the blob.

Namespace: Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.Blob
Assembly: Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage (in Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.dll)
'Применение
Dim instance As CloudPageBlob
Dim size As Nullable(Of Long)
Dim callback As AsyncCallback
Dim state As Object
Dim returnValue As ICancellableAsyncResult

returnValue = instance.BeginOpenWrite(size, callback, state)
[DoesServiceRequest]
public ICancellableAsyncResult BeginOpenWrite (
	Nullable<long> size,
	AsyncCallback callback,
	Object state
)

Parameters

size

The size of the page blob, in bytes. The size must be a multiple of 512. If null, the page blob must already exist.

callback

The callback delegate that will receive notification when the asynchronous operation completes.

state

A user-defined object that will be passed to the callback delegate.

Return Value

An ICancellableAsyncResult that references the asynchronous operation.

If size is non-null, the BeginOpenWrite(Generic Nullable,AsyncCallback,Object) method will overwrite an existing blob. If size is null, an existing blob will open or an error will be returned if the blob cannot be found.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.

Development Platforms

Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008
