Como migrar um banco de dados usando o Assistente para Gerar Scripts (Banco de Dados SQL do Windows Azure)

Para implantar um aplicativo no Microsoft Banco de dados SQL do Windows Azure, talvez seja preciso migrar um banco de dados de uma instância local do SQL Server para o Banco de dados SQL. Este tópico mostra como migrar um banco de dados simples para o Banco de dados SQL usando scripts Transact-SQL. 

O Banco de dados SQL do Windows Azure oferece suporte a um subconjunto da linguagem Transact-SQL. Você deve modificar o script gerado para incluir somente instruções Transact-SQL com suporte antes de implantar o banco de dados no Banco de dados SQL. Criar o banco de dados de exemplo School

  1. No SQL Server Management Studio, no menu Arquivo, aponte para Novo e clique em Consulta do Mecanismo de Banco de Dados.

  2. Na caixa de diálogo Conectar ao Mecanismo de Banco de Dados, digite as informações para sua instância local do SQL Server e clique em Conectar.

  3. Cole o script Transact-SQL ao término deste tópico na janela de consulta e clique em Executar.

Criar o script Transact-SQL

  1. No Gerenciador de Objetos, clique com o botão direito no banco de dados School, aponte para Tarefas e selecione Gerar Scripts.

  2. Na caixa de diálogo Assistente para Gerar e Publicar Scripts, clique em Avançar para ir para a etapa Escolher Objetos. Selecione Gerar script de todo o banco de dados e todos os objetos de banco de dados e clique em Avançar.

  3. Em Definir Opções de Script, defina as seguintes opções:

    • Defina Tipo de Saída como Salvar script em local específico. Selecione Salvar em arquivo. Clique em Arquivo único. Digite o nome do arquivo e o local em Nome do arquivo. Clique em Avançado.

    • Em Opções de Script Avançadas, defina a opção “Script para o tipo de mecanismo de banco de dados” como “Banco de Dados SQL”, defina a opção “Converter UDDTs em Tipos de Base” como “True” e a opção “Tipos de dados para script” como “Esquema e dados”. Clique em OK.

  4. Clique em Avançar, em Avançar e em Concluir.

Execute o script no Banco de Dados SQL

  1. Crie o banco de dados School no servidor do Banco de dados SQL pelo Portal de Gerenciamento da Plataforma Windows Azure ou executando o comando Transact-SQL a seguir:

  2. No SQL Server Management Studio, abra o menu Consulta, aponte para Conexão e selecione Alterar Conexão.

  3. Digite o nome de servidor e suas credenciais do Banco de dados SQL e clique em Opções >>.

  4. Na guia Propriedades da Conexão, digite School no menu suspenso Conectar ao banco de dados e clique em Conectar.

  5. Clique com o botão direito no banco de dados School no Banco de dados SQL e selecione Nova Consulta.

  6. No SQL Server Management Studio, no menu Arquivo, aponte para Abrir e clique em Arquivo. Na janela Abrir Arquivo, abra o arquivo de script School do local especificado anteriormente no Assistente para Gerar e Publicar Scripts.

  7. Pressione F5 para executar o script.
