Export Virtual Network Settings to a Network Configuration File
Updated: March 21, 2014
You can export your network settings to a network configuration file (.xml). You can then use this file as a template to create additional virtual networks, or to recreate your virtual network if you delete it. For information about how to edit this file, see Configure a Virtual Network Using a Network Configuration File. For information about the settings contained in this file, see Azure Virtual Network Configuration Schema.
In the Management Portal, on the networks page, click EXPORT (at the bottom of the page).
On the Export network configuration page, verify that you have selected the subscription for which you want to export your network settings. Then, click the checkmark on the lower right.
When you are prompted, save the NetworkConfig.xml file.
