Everyone's talking about Cloud Computing now. And for developers, Cloud Computing is like a cool breeze on a hot summer's day. It takes the burden off you because you no longer have to worry about hardware and installing operating systems and databases.

Commercially available since February 2010, the platform has evolved tremendously and today includes features like compute, storage, access control, database and BI, virtual machines, CDN, VPN, caching, service bus and much more.

It's also getting a lot easier to have your application take account of variations in load. It's all included in the Windows Azure.

So you can save time during the development process and have fewer worried once the application is online. Meaning you can be totally relaxed and enjoy your holiday!

Download the Windows Azure SDK and Tools to integrate with Visual Studio 2010. Note: for tooling interop with Java or PHP you can see this page: http://www.interoperabilitybridges.com/
Set up an account and obtain a free subscription for accessing the online portals for Windows Azure, SQL Azure and Windows Azure. You can learn more about the accounts or you can sign up directly and get the trial

A full day can become a week if you want to dive into everything we have to offer you. Of course, start by setting up your machine so take a look at the first set of links in the previous ½ day section.
Once you are set up, different top resources are available to you in all types of formats (videos, tutorials, training kits, blogs, books). Dive right in!
