MemoryStream.Position Property

Gets or sets the current position within the stream.

Namespace:  System.IO
Assembly:  mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

public override long Position { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Int64
The current position within the stream.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentOutOfRangeException

The position is set to a negative value or a value greater than MaxValue.

ObjectDisposedException

The stream is closed.
