Returns whether the type converter can convert an object to the specified type.

Parameters

context
Type: System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext
An object that provides a format context.
destinationType
Type: System.Type
The type you want to convert to.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if this converter can perform the conversion; otherwise, false.

Notes to Inheritors

For use as a type converter for custom-type attribute handling in XAML, you do not need to implement this method (it is not called by the XAML parser for type conversion purposes. However, you might still want to implement a practical behavior for CanConvertTo as a best practice.

The base implementation always returns false.
