Applies to Windows and Windows Phone

Most Windows Runtime APIs are now available for Windows Phone Store apps, as well as Windows Store apps, which means you can share more code when you create apps that target both Windows and Windows Phone devices. In addition to Windows Runtime APIs, additional APIs are also available based on the language and UI framework you choose to use for your Store app.
