Office.context.mailbox.userProfile.timeZone

A string that represents the user's default time zone, as specified in the host application.

The timeZone property returns time zone information as set in the host application. It also returns any information about the transition between standard time and daylight saving time.

In Outlook for Windows and Outlook RT, the user can set the time zone in the Office Fluent Backstage view which is synchronized with the time zone specified for Windows on the client computer. Similarly in Outlook for Mac, the user can set the time zone in Outlook Preferences, which is synchronized with the Date & Time preferences on the client computer. In Outlook Web App and OWA for Devices, the timeZone property is the time zone set in the Exchange Admin Center (EAC) on the web for that mailbox. Therefore, the timeZone property value can be different in a rich client (Outlook for Windows, Outlook 2013 RT or Outlook for Mac) and in Outlook Web App or OWA for Devices.
