Office.context.mailbox.userProfile.timeZone

A string that represents the user's default time zone, as specified in the host application.

The timeZone property returns time zone information as set in the host application. It also returns any information about the transition between standard time and daylight saving time.

In the Outlook rich client, the time zone can be set in the Office Fluent Backstage view which is always synchronized with the time zone specified for Windows on the client computer. In Outlook Web App, the timeZone property is the time zone set in the Exchange Admin Center (EAC). Therefore, the timeZone property value can be different for the Outlook rich client and Outlook Web App or OWA for Devices.
