Welcome to the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SDK

Revised: August 2008

The Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Software Development Kit (SDK) includes documentation, as well as code examples within the topics, for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.

The Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SDK describes the technologies that Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 provides for developers. It contains overview information and step-by-step, how-to procedures for programming with Windows SharePoint Services that can help you get started writing applications. You can find several code examples within the documentation, as well as some tips and best practices for using the development platform of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.

NoteNote:

Periodically, check the Windows SharePoint Services Developer Center on MSDN for SDK updates and new technical articles.

After installing the SDK, those new to Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies should start with the What's New in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 section of the SDK. If you are already familiar with the SDK, see What's New in the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SDK to learn what we added in this release.

Record Repository Web Service      dlgross   |   Edit   |
Why is there a link to the record repository web service in the WSS 3 SDK when this service is only available from MOSS? this seems inappropriate.
