LOCALE_SENGLISH* Constants

This topic defines the LOCALE_SENGLISH* constants used by NLS.

LOCALE_SENGLISHCOUNTRYNAME

Windows 7 and later: English name of the country/region, for example, Germany for Deutschland. This name is always restricted to characters that can be mapped into the ASCII 127-character subset.

LOCALE_SENGLISHDISPLAYNAME

Windows 7 and later: Display name of the locale in English. Usually the display name consists of the language and the country/region, for example, German (Germany) for Deutsch (Deutschland).

LOCALE_SENGLISHLANGUAGENAME

Windows 7 and later: English name of the language in English, for example, German for Deutsch, from International ISO Standard 639. This name is always restricted to characters that can be mapped into the ASCII 127-character subset.
