NetOnewayRelayBinding.MaxBufferPoolSize Property

Gets or sets the maximum size allowed for a buffer pool that stores messages processed by the binding.

Namespace:  Microsoft.ServiceBus
Assembly:  Microsoft.ServiceBus (in Microsoft.ServiceBus.dll)
public long MaxBufferPoolSize { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Int64
Returns the maximum size allowed for a buffer pool that stores messages processed by the binding. The default value is 65,536 bytes.

If you receive more data than you can buffer, the data that exceeds the buffer size remains on the underlying socket until your buffer has room for the rest of the data.

MaxBufferSize, MaxBufferPoolSize, ReaderQuotas and MaxReceivedMessageSize are often used together to assist with memory management and provide a potential defense against Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks. In this context, these members are very similar to their WCF counterparts. For more information, see the Security Considerations for Data topic in the WCF documentation.
