NetTcpRelaySecurityElement.RelayClientAuthenticationType Property

Gets or sets the authentication type required for the client to present to the Windows Azure Service Bus when sending messages.

Namespace:  Microsoft.ServiceBus.Configuration
Assembly:  Microsoft.ServiceBus (in Microsoft.ServiceBus.dll)
[ConfigurationPropertyAttribute("relayClientAuthenticationType")]
public RelayClientAuthenticationType RelayClientAuthenticationType { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: Microsoft.ServiceBus.RelayClientAuthenticationType
Returns a RelayClientAuthenticationType that contains the authentication type.

RelayClientAuthenticationType maps to the value that controls whether clients of a service are required to present a security token issued by the Windows Azure Service Bus service to the Windows Azure Service Bus service when sending messages. Services (listeners) are always required to authenticate with the Windows Azure Service Bus service and present an authorization token to the Windows Azure Service Bus. If the service (listener) wants to take over the responsibility of authenticating/authorizing clients, the service can opt out of the integration between Windows Azure Service Bus and Windows Azure Service Bus by setting RelayClientAuthenticationType to None. Otherwise, the default value is RelayAccessToken.
