SetTcpMaxDataRetransmissions method of the Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration class

The SetTcpMaxDataRetransmissions WMI class static method is used to set the number of times TCP retransmits an individual data segment before aborting the connection.

This topic uses Managed Object Format (MOF) syntax. For more information about using this method, see Calling a Method.

Parameters

TcpMaxDataRetransmissions

Number of times TCP retransmits an individual data segment before aborting the connection. Valid range: 0 - 0xFFFFFFFF.

Remarks

The retransmission timeout doubles with each successive retransmission on a connection.
