This property specifies or retrieves a value indicating whether the context menu appears when the user clicks the right mouse button.

Syntax

MediaPlayer.EnableContextMenu

Possible Values

This property is a read/write Boolean containing one of the following values.

Value Description
true Default. The context menu is enabled.
false The context menu is disabled.

Remarks

If the value of this property is true, right-clicking the mouse anywhere on the Windows Media Player control opens the context (shortcut) menu.

The context menu contains options usually available to the user as buttons (Play/Pause, Stop, Properties, and so on). If any of these buttons is disabled, the function associated with that button is also disabled on the context menu.
