uniform4f method

Assigns four dimensional floating point values to a uniform variable for the current program object.

Syntax

WebGLRenderingContext.uniform4f(location, x, y, z, w);

Parameters

location [in]

Type: WebGLUniformLocation

x [in]

Type: Number

Horizontal value to assign.

y [in]

Type: Number

Vertical value to assign.

z [in]

Type: Number

Depth value to assign.

w [in]

Type: Number

Scaling value to assign.

Return value

This method does not return a value.

Remarks

WebGL errorDescription
gl.INVALID_OPERATION
  • The location doesn't belong to the current program.
  • There is no active program.
  • Uniform specified by location isn't a float type.

 

If the location is null, no uniforms are updated and no error code is generated.
