Get-AzureCertificate

Gets a certificate object from the specified Windows Azure service.

Get-AzureCertificate [-ServiceName] <String> [-Thumbprint <String> ] [-ThumbprintAlgorithm <String> ] [ <CommonParameters>]

This topic describes the cmdlet in the .6.19 version of the Windows Azure PowerShell module. To find out the version of the module you're using, from the Windows Azure PowerShell console, type (get-module azure).version.

Specifies the name of the Windows Azure service that has the certificate.

This command gets the certificate object from the specified cloud service, and stores it in the $MyAzureCert variable.

C:\PS>$MyAzureCert = Get-AzureCertificate -ServiceName "MyService"

This command gets the certificate object identified by the specified thumbprint from the specified hosted service, and stores it in the $MyAzureCert variable.
