BindingOperations.GetBindingExpressionBase Method

Definition

Retrieves the BindingExpressionBase object that is set on the specified property.

DependencyObject

The object where dp is.

dp
DependencyProperty

The binding target property from which to retrieve the BindingExpressionBase object.

The BindingExpressionBase object that is set on the given property or null if no binding object has been set.

Exceptions

The target and dp parameters cannot be null.

Remarks

The BindingExpressionBase class is the common base class for the BindingExpression, PriorityBindingExpression, and MultiBindingExpression classes. You can use the GetBindingExpression, GetPriorityBindingExpression, and GetMultiBindingExpression methods if you know in advance type of binding that is set on the property.
