Exception.GetType Method

Silverlight

Gets the runtime type of the current instance.

Return Value

Type: System.Type
A Type object that represents the exact runtime type of the current instance.

The GetType method exists to support the .NET Framework infrastructure, and internally invokes the fundamental method, Object.GetType.

Supported in: Windows Phone OS 7.1, Windows Phone OS 7.0
