Add team members to your project

Now you have a team project, you can use TFS to share your work with your team. You can all work on the same codebase, create backlog items and bugs, track the team status and more.

  1. In Team Foundation Service, select your team project. (If you haven't been here before or your team project isn't listed, use Browse.)

  2. Manage team members from the team project home page. The Manage link appears only for team administrators. If you're not yet an administrator, get added as one.

  3. Add users to your team.

    Add a user

    Add multiple users at the same time. Each user you add needs a Microsoft account.

    Type a Windows Live ID and save

    Now these users are members of your team.

  4. Send the URL for your team project (for example, https://fabrikamfiber.tfsvisualstudio.com/DefaultCollection/FabrikamFiber) to the new team members so that they can sign in. Then they can also access the team project.
