Scribble Sample: MDI Drawing Application

The Scribble sample is based on the original MFC Scribble. The sample demonstrates how to develop a Windows Forms MDI application using C++ and the .NET Framework classes. Scribble is a small drawing application that lets you draw free-hand drawings using the mouse and save those images in a file.

The sample contains three objects of interest:

  • Document object   Manages the user-created documents and performs basic opening and saving operations.

  • View object   Provides the view for the document object. The user can have different views of the same document.

  • Main form object   The equivalent of the standard MFC frame object. This object is the parent for all of the views.
