.jpg) | Looking at XNA: Part 1 From Rory Blyth: This is the first of a two part series in which we get a look at XNA - the technology that's going to make it significantly easier for devs to code games that run on Windows and the Xbox 360. In this first part, we chat with Boyd Multerer about his role in the XNA program. It's some pretty cool stuff, and what I learned tells me that XNA could really change the hobbyist game scene for the better. |
.jpg) | Looking at XNA: Part 2 From Rory Blyth(Channel 9): Now, in Part Two, Frank Savage shows it all to us. Frank will talk about XNA from his perspective, deploy an XNA project to an Xbox 360, modify the application, and also give a debugging demonstration. All of this is done at 1080p, showing off both the 360's recently acquired ability to support this resolution, as well as the power of XNA. It's really quite amazing: High frame rates at 1080p under managed code using only a single core of the three available. |

Check out http://msdn.microsoft.com/directx/xna/ for more info on XNA itself. |
