Top StoryAction Required: Plan for the Winqual Downtime Starting February 12, 2012 On February 12, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, Winqual will go offline. Service will return on or before February 20, 2012, at noon Pacific Standard Time. During this time, the Winqual site will be unavailable. We ask you to plan ahead for this interruption of Winqual service. When service returns, your logo submissions, metadata submissions, Verisign certificates, legal agreements, and user accounts and roles will be preserved. Reminder: Windows 8 Hardware Certification Requirements Are Available The Windows Hardware Certification team reminds you that the Windows 8 hardware certification requirements for systems, servers, devices, and filter drivers are now available for all our valued partners. If you are planning to create hardware products for Windows 8, start using the requirements now to help ensure your products and drivers take full advantage of all that Windows 8 has to offer. Although you cannot yet submit your products for Windows 8 certification, your product will be better prepared for submission if you design and build with Windows 8 requirements in mind.
