Play To: An Overivew of Media Sharing in Windows 7

This session will provide an overview of the Play To feature in Windows 7 and how it enables media streaming between PCs and consumer electronics devices on home networks. You will learn about the three device types that are supported by this new feature and how those device classes work together to create a complete user experience.

Drew Peterson is a Program Manager on the Windows PC and Partner Ecosystem team. During his four years at Microsoft, Drew held roles in the Zune Accessories team as a Product Manager/Product Planner. More recently, he worked as a Senior Product Manager in the Windows business group, where he created and presented marketing programs with the Partner Adoption team for the Device Stage and Play To features of Windows 7. Before joining Microsoft, Drew worked for over five years as a technical account manager and consultant in IT staffing, data warehousing projects, and digital signage implementations.
