This session will provide details on how to enable your device with the Windows 7 technologies that provide consumers with a seamless device setup and installation experience. This session will cover Windows Rally, Windows Connect Now, Plug and Play Extensions (PnP-X), and the Vertical Pairing process.

Dave Roth is a Senior Program Manager on the Windows team. For more than 10 years, Dave has driven such innovative technologies as Windows Media streaming, Digital Rights Management, and Web Services for Devices. Most recently he has worked on the unification of device association technologies and the vertical pairing of multiple device protocols. He has been awarded numerous patents for his work at Microsoft. He has also authored several magazine articles, a monthly magazine column, and several books about Windows Perl programming.
