It also provides prescriptive guidelines to improve performance, and discusses drivers, system services, and start-up applications with the goal of minimizing their impact on critical On-Off scenarios. Sylvain Goyette is a Program Manager who currently works in the Windows Ecosystem Engagement group. His expertise focuses mainly on performance analysis and automated diagnostics, so he can help partners improve system performance for these top Windows scenarios that directly correlate with customer satisfaction. Sylvain has two years of experience in the Fundamentals and OEM Solutions teams as a performance analyst and a software engineer, where he is one of the main resources for on/off performance scenarios such as boot, shutdown, and sleep. He graduated in 2006 with a Master of Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Montreal.
