Windows Vista Service Pack 1 is an update to Windows Vista that addresses feedback from our customers. In addition to previously released updates, SP1 contains changes focused on addressing specific reliability and performance issues, supporting new types of hardware, and adding support for several emerging standards. Windows Vista SP1 also addresses some management, deployment, and support challenges.

- Windows Vista SP1 is available in all 36 Windows Vista languages via the stand-alone installer and Windows Update. For TechNet Plus and MSDN subscribers, the DVD image of Windows Vista with SP1 is available for download in English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese Traditional (HK), Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional (TW), Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch, and Swedish. It will be available in all 36 languages within a few weeks.
