During this lab, you will perform a hands-on lab in which you will upgrade your database from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 R2. Lab 2: Working with the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 StreamInsight Event Flow Debugger: SQL Server 2008 R2 introduced a new feature, StreamInsight, which is a new technology platform from Microsoft that allows querying data while it is still in flight, rather than after it has been persisted to the database. This is useful in situations where the data is being received at a very high rate and needs to be processed with very low latency. In this lab, you will use the StreamInsight event Flow Debugger to debug a problem in an existing application. Lab 3: Querying Events in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 StreamInsight Using LINQ: In this lab, you will learn to query StreamInsight using LINQ. Lab 4: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2: Multi Server Management: SQL Server 2008 R2 introduced Application and Multi-server management, which will help organizations proactively manage database environments efficiently at scale through centralized visibility into resource utilization.
