.NET Framework Class Library
PropertyGrid..::.Dispose Method (Boolean)

Disposes of the resources (other than memory) used by the PropertyGrid.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
Syntax
Protected Overrides Sub Dispose ( _
	disposing As Boolean _
)
protected override void Dispose(
	bool disposing
)
protected:
virtual void Dispose(
	bool disposing
) override
abstract Dispose :
        disposing:bool -> unit
override Dispose :
        disposing:bool -> unit

Parameters

disposing
Type: System..::.Boolean
true to release both managed and unmanaged resources; false to release only unmanaged resources.
Remarks

Call Dispose when you are finished using the PropertyGrid. The Dispose method leaves the PropertyGrid in an unusable state. After calling Dispose, you must release all references to the PropertyGrid so the memory it was occupying can be reclaimed by garbage collection.

NoteNote

Always call Dispose before you release your last reference to the PropertyGrid. Otherwise, the resources the PropertyGrid is using will not be freed until garbage collection calls the destructor of PropertyGrid.
