.NET Framework Class Library
PropertyGrid..::.OnGotFocus Method

Raises the GotFocus event.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
Syntax
Protected Overrides Sub OnGotFocus ( _
	e As EventArgs _
)
protected override void OnGotFocus(
	EventArgs e
)
protected:
virtual void OnGotFocus(
	EventArgs^ e
) override
abstract OnGotFocus :
        e:EventArgs -> unit
override OnGotFocus :
        e:EventArgs -> unit

Parameters

e
Type: System..::.EventArgs
An EventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnGotFocus method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnGotFocus in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnGotFocus method so that registered delegates receive the event.
