PropertyGrid..::.OnComComponentNameChanged Method

Raises the ComComponentNameChanged event.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
Syntax
Protected Sub OnComComponentNameChanged ( _
	e As ComponentRenameEventArgs _
)
protected void OnComComponentNameChanged(
	ComponentRenameEventArgs e
)
protected:
void OnComComponentNameChanged(
	ComponentRenameEventArgs^ e
)
member OnComComponentNameChanged :
        e:ComponentRenameEventArgs -> unit
Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnComComponentNameChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnComComponentNameChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnComComponentNameChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
