Renders the HtmlContainerControl control to the specified HtmlTextWriter object.

Parameters

writer: Type: System.Web.UI..::.HtmlTextWriter
The HtmlTextWriter that receives the HtmlContainerControl content.

Remarks

The Render method overrides the HtmlControl..::.Render method to render the opening tag, child controls, and closing tag of the HtmlContainerControl control.

The Render method is used primarily by control developers extending the functionality of the HtmlContainerControl control.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding the Render method in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's Render method so that the HtmlContainerControl control is correctly rendered.
