Gets a value indicating that a property is typically used for binding.
Assembly: System (in System.dll)
Public ReadOnly Property Bindable As Boolean
Getpublic bool Bindable { get; }public:
property bool Bindable {
bool get ();
}member Bindable : bool
Property Value
Type: Systemtrue if the property is typically used for binding; otherwise, false.
The following code example checks to see whether MyProperty is bindable. First the code gets the attributes for MyProperty by doing the following:
Retrieving a PropertyDescriptorCollection with all the properties for the object.
Indexing into the PropertyDescriptorCollection to get MyProperty.
Saving the attributes for this property in the attributes variable.
Then, the code sets myAttribute to the value of the BindableAttribute in the AttributeCollection and checks whether the property is bindable.
For this code example to run, you must provide the fully qualified assembly name. For information about how to obtain the fully qualified assembly name, see
